Drum roll please.

Welcome to Charter School Partner’s new Blog!

Beginning today, Al Fan, Katie Barrett Kramer and I will be posting on a regular basis.

It is our hope that this Blog will be the best resource  for schools (leaders, teachers, boards and parents) and community leaders to be up-to-date on the latest in the charter school community in Minnesota and nationally as it relates to quality and achievement.  Quality and achievement — the next phase of the Charter movement in America and Minnesota.

One of CSP’s first efforts was an editorial in the St. Paul Pioneer Press by Al Fan entitled Quality/No-Excuses, where he argues that the charter movement is no longer just about choice and innovation, but it must now be about replicating successful schools. This is a great statement about what we are about.

Margaret O'Brien, Executive Director, Seven Hills Classical Academy reads to her students about First Day Jitters.

Whether our first Blog or first Social Studies quiz, Margaret O'Brien, Executive Director, Seven Hills Classical Academy and Beacon Prep in Bloomington, is helping us through our First Day Jitters.

In addition to the GO TO portal for charter school quality and achievement news and information, we hope this Blog will also be fun and entertaining. We will be intertwining news about our School Partners and letting you get to know some of the great, innovative charter leaders and their quality programs.

So let’s kick this off with a little help from a group of Minnesota ladies (Spoiler Alert: They knew our parents/grandparents or rather our parents/grandparents knew them); a trio who had something to say about beginnings.

Let us Begin!
